Crime rates falling in England and Wales.
Within a year, until June 2017, 5.8 million criminal cases occurred in England and Wales, the report released by the Crime Survey for England and Wales states. This record shows 9% decrease in comparison to the previous year.
According to the report, 10.8 million misdeeds including stalking and harassment took a place around England and Wales.
The annual report demonstrates a 4% decrease violent crimes in adults, aged16 and over in 2017 ending June.
In one year to June 2017, 37000 offences involving with knives or other sharp instruments were recorded which shows 27 percent increase compare to the previous year, as alleged by the report.
As stated by the report, 2 out of every 100 adults and 11 out of 100 children aged 10 to 15 were a victim of violent crime in England and Wales.
8.2% of women (1.3 million) and 4.0% of men (600,000) reported to have experienced any type of domestic abuse in one year to June 2017. The figures also show that 1.9% of adults aged 16 to 59 years had been victims of sexual assaults in the same period of time.
711 deaths or serious injuries caused by illegal driving, in England and Wales, a 6% rise from the previous year, as maintained by the CSEW's figures.
